EU Startup Services secures 4 Phase 1 Grants in the September 2016 cut-off date of the SME Instrument

Another round of success stories, as EU Startup Services is proud to announce that they wrote 4 successful applications for the SME Instrument Phase 1 for startups from 3 countries (France, UK and Sweden) and across 3 different topics: Open Disruptive Innovation, ICT for Health, and Transport and Smart Cities Mobility.

For the third cut-off of the SME Instrument Phase 1 this year, EASME received 1,938 project proposals from 40 countries. ODI was again the most popular topic with 457 proposals submitted, followed by ICT for health (227) and low carbon & efficient energy systems (187 proposals). Most proposals have been submitted by SMEs from Italy (362), Spain (359) and the United Kingdom (164).

The European Commission has funded a total of 1,506 SME Instrument Phase 1 projects since the launch of the programme in 2014.

These 4 new projects testify of EU Startup Services’ expertise in the above-mentioned sectors, and extend our overall success stories to a total of 19 companies served in the last 18 months, in 9 different countries.
